It is getting close to the end of 2010 and this when I like to put my best of’s product reviews. 2010 was a stellar year the stupid, and the more stupid. It was a time when we the bad get worse. But in the As Seen On TV fitness world we saw the tough get tougher.

The fitness product that I was so interested in was the Perfect Punch which was released by Jay Glazer in mid November. I know it was released very late in the year to really know what type of impact it will have on the market but in my opinion it is the product of the year. I think it will be in the running for Fitness Product of the Year in 2010 as well.

Keep in mind that I don’t have some elaborate judging system to determine this year’s best products. My criteria is simple. Anything I do not hate has a chance to win. Fortunately for the Perfect Punch, it was the only fitness product I liked this year. But, this thing would probably fare well in a year of tough competition as well.

This product is just very cool and people will just want to have it regardless of any of the upcoming marketing campaigns. Sure there will be infomercials, commercials and special offers but none of that will matter. It is going to sell. Why? The reason is also very simple.

Real professional fighters, be it MMA or boxers, actually use the Perfect Punch to increase their punching speed, work on their technique and develop greater punching power. Fighters are tough and very fit. I seriously doubt that any tough guy with a fight on the line would use a product that makes him less tough. And that alone will be the basis of the demand for this product.

These fighters who need be fast, tough and strong would not use the Perfect Punch if it made them untough. At least that is my observation. In MMA and Boxing, repetition is the key to success. Practice right and will win. Your footwork, conditioning, stance and striking technique can each effect the outcome of a fight so fighters are always on top of their game.

Just because this item is used by pros does not mean we can’t use it to stay at the top of our own game. It doesn’t matter if we are ever going to step into the ring because the perfect punch has brought punch training to the public in a very easy to use way. This is a low impact workout based on progressive resistance training and it is challenging. It is the aerobic training and the punching motion that will do you in but I guarantee you will enjoy this workout. It is different than any thing out in the marketplace right now.

The perfect punch is not some rehashed fitness product. I mean how times can they change the color of an ab machine and call it something different. The Perfect Punch is innovative and the makers deserve recognition for taking a risk and trying to change the way people exercise. The concept is based on simple shadow boxing technique but Jay Glazer has updated the training to relate to today’s modern MMA Fighters.

Like I said before this product is new, but still the best of 2010. I’m sure you will see commercials everywhere for this starting in January if not before. I apologize in advance to the makers of perfect punch because I could not go off on them. It seems everybody loves this product and there is nothing funny about it. No maybe if you put a boxing kangaroo in the ring using the Perfect Punch, then I may have something to write about.
