Exercise is, or at least should be, an ordinary habit in most of our lives today, but was not seen as essential or even orthodox. It goes back thousands of years preceding the modern day of machines and fitness influences. There exist a lot of forms and names by which it is addressed. Exercise is applied in versatility depending on the case of the person or persons concerned. If you ask exactly when was exercise invented, it is too indefinite to place for sure.

Definitely, exercise was in existence since the beginning of man, invented or not. Recognized or not, most physical activities necessary for basic survival provided extreme exercise, such as tending to large fields in scorching heat.

Before ancient Greece, exercise was not widely seen as means to amplify physical capabilities. This is when states, namely Sparta, would relentlessly train their soldiers to be the deadliest killers in battles of awful odds. They saw how exercises like jogging and forced labor would perfect muscle mass and tone, extend endurance, all attributes useful when facing foes. And though it is true this was seen as good activity, official steps, especially for ordinary people.

The first exercise to benefit the common man in everyday life was seen upwards of’60. This was when conditions like obesity were discovered and action was taken against them. Formal steps like weight training to build muscle, and jogging to reduce risks of heart disease were started.

Today, the impact of exercise is significant. It is seen on almost every commercial medium available. Because of this it is arguable that exercise is still being invented. As technology advances new forms of exercise are available. The treadmill is just one example of new exercise, although still concerning the same muscles as other workouts.

All in all, the time invention of exercise is subjective and indefinite. So many forms of exercise are available whether done deliberately or not. It is updated to defeated new forms of health problems. The exact time of invention cannot be pinpointed, but it is definite that new exercises will keep coming.
