The feeling of being chronically tired is typically caused by many factors. Inadequate sleep, too much stress, poor diet, and inactivity can leave your body filled with harmful toxins. These toxins decrease your metabolism and slow your other body functions, leaving you extremely fatigued.

The only way to overcome your lack of energy is to correct the issues causing it. However, it can take some time for these toxins to leave your system. You can accelerate the process using a detox day.

When you are always feeling tired a detox day is an easy way to immediately cleanse your system and gain energy. There is not a lot of planning to a detox day. You only need to buy your groceries and supplements beforehand.

The first step to a detox day is to eat only organic, natural foods. You should start the day with a “green” power drink that is made from green foods. Green foods include whole, “raw” dairy products like yogurt, coconut milk, rice bran, and fresh fruits. You can combine ingredients until you find a recipe that appeals to you. Make sure your power drink also includes protein powder to give you a boost of energy throughout the day.

Next you must become physically active. Even if your lack of energy is severe, this is an important step to detoxifying. Perform an aerobic exercise for at least 30 minutes. This increases your heart rate and will accelerate the release of toxins within your body tissue.

You should also try to sit in a sauna for at least 30 minutes. If you find it difficult to stay in that long, try lowering the heat temperature. The goal is to increase your sweat production, which is the easiest way to purge the contaminants and toxins in your system.

There are supplements that will help the productivity of your detox day. A great multi-vitamin and green tea leaf extract is recommended. Niacin should be taken because it helps your body tissue release toxins. You should also use magnesium to keep your bowel movements regular and more quickly remove toxins from your body.

When you are always feeling tired, the simplest ways to increase your energy are the best. This is why a detox day is such a great technique. It is not difficult and you will quickly feel reinvigorated. This energy will sustain you as you move on to more long-term methods to increase energy. The best part is that you can use a detox day anytime you feel you need an extra boost of energy.

Here are 7 rules to help you make your workout effective and turn your skinny body into a huge mass of muscle in quick time.

How to select exercises: Choosing exercises that use free weights and bodyweight is the best way on how to bulk up fast. Never use the machines. You need a good range of motion to strengthen muscles and joints. Also go for the heaviest weights that you can lift over 5-8 reps.

How many sets per workout: Skinny beginners do well with low volume. All you need is 12-16 sets per workout to get fast results. Low volume training has several benefits over high volume training. There’s no chance of overtraining, you recover well and allow your muscles to grow in the recovery intervals, and you don’t feel sore as with high volume training.

How many sets to perform per exercise: Beginners and skinny guys are prescribed 3 to 5 sets per exercise. As you advance and start gaining some muscle and get used to the training program, 1 to 3 sets per exercise is enough.

How many reps per set: The range of 8-12 reps that you see in many muscle building programs is not for skinny guys trying to bulk up fast. For you, the range of 5-8 reps is ideal. You can lift very heavy weights with this range which is essential for hypertrophy (enlargement of muscle cells).

How much rep speed: Slow is not the way to go, especially for hard-gainers. Speed up lifting and control lowering of weights. Lift in less than a second and lower in about 2 seconds. Slow and deliberate motion is not for skinny guys wanting to put on muscle mass.

How long to rest between sets: Short rest intervals (between 45 seconds to 90 seconds) are for the beginners as they don’t tire out their core motor units. As you gain in experience and begin recruiting a large number of muscle fibers, you’ll need anything from 2 to 4 minutes of rest between sets.

How long to train in one session: Never go beyond 30-45 minutes in one session. This is the optimum duration of a training session for testosterone to build up to peak levels. Any more than that and cortisol (catabolic hormone) will start eating away your muscle tissues.
