Soccer practice games
In comparison to drills, anyone who has the same bent of mind as mine will understand the importance of soccer practice games. Initially, the games must focus on helping the kids acquire the skills and improving their movement with the ball. But there are certain points that you must check when they advance in their soccer training.
As has already been talked about earlier, kids get an opportunity to develop their own special playing style with having fun when divided into groups. First and foremost, the kids must get the freedom to decide on various issues concerning them and this is possible only when the size of the group is small.
Subsequently the kids will fell free to move about in the large and open field, get a feel of the ball more often, and feel liable for the decisions that they make since the players in their group are significantly less.
On the other hand, make sure you initiate changes as soon as the players get comfortable playing in small groups and are improving. Now is the time to launch progressions in soccer practice games. What this means is you tend to make the rules of the game a little more stringent, play games in larger fields, and increase the size of the group. You should also introduce more complex strategies that focus on not just player’s skills but also the larger team objectives.
Soccer Training
There is something here that needs special mention. Most coaches make the mistake of rushing on things so that kids become match-ready ahead of time. You need to understand that it may prove dangerous in the long run. Just like soccer drills, you cannot mechanize the process. It must be a natural growth with time.
The objectives may not be met if you rush with things, make a lot of rules, and expose kids to a lot of knowledge soon enough. This obstructs their process of learning and growth.
When the players move from one level of training to another, they should develop team spirit and realize the goals behind the games. It is vital to understand this change from developing your own skills to using these skills to make the team win.
At this stage, along with games, it also becomes important to hold regular discussions and team meetings. Keep in mind that the players now understand the game and its techniques. So it would be a capital mistake to undermine their assessment skills in soccer exercises.
Involving them in decision making and encouraging them to come out with their thoughts will go a long way in inculcating a sense of responsibility in them.
The games should now concentrate on making the kids think proactively about winning matches. When they start thinking like team players while playing games, you would have done your job well.
Now you must take this knowledge and incorporate it in your plan. Soccer practice games are the best tools to make the kids learn soccer and so you must choose them creatively. sEnroll for our youth soccer coaching community that has a number of games and strategies to make training sessions fun and educational.

Drills for soccer
I’d like to know something from you? How many times do you perform the drills for soccer yourself before allowing the kids to imitate the same? Experienced coaches always follow this practice. This is the best approach.
It’s simple for the kids to learn things by looking at them. You, as a coach, must attempt to execute the drills in front of your kids to cheer them up and encourage them to learn and understand fast. A couple of offensive soccer drills that you can teach to your kids are as follows:
Tight space dribbling: This drill has a dual benefit of bettering the fitness levels of the players and allowing them to increase their contacts with the ball. When the kids are warming up at the beginning of the session, your kids can be made to execute these drills. There are several benefits of this drill. It not only warms up the players but also teaches them to keep their head held high while moving about in the field.
Ask each player to take a ball. Draw a 10 by 10 rectangle outline using cones. In order to perform this drill, the players must run around the field changing directions randomly. This will keep the players moving back and forth from one point to the other point. They must carry on with this for at lest 5 to 10 minutes.
Soccer Drills
During this performance, lots of variations can be tried by the players such as undertaking surprising actions, taking sudden turns, and even playing around with the ball. The kids tend to concentrate a lot on the ball. They overlook their opponents who gradually come nearer and sooner or later lose the custody of the ball. Such soccer exercises teach them to dribble for short intervals keeping the opposition in check.
3 v 3; this drill is one out of very few efficient drills for soccer. It helps the players practice on wall passes and retains the possession of the ball for longer intervals. It is important however when they are performing the drill to not focus on scoring a lot. The intention of this drill is to teach players to keep the ball with them for a longer period of time.
Divide the players into groups or teams of 8. 6 players should be positioned in such a way that they face each other and the remaining 2 players should stand on either sides of the rectangle. The team having the ball has the freedom to utilize their players on each side but the players positioned on the sides can lay their hands on the ball just one time. Moreover, they lack the privilege to keep a count.
This has a lot of positive effect on the player’s ability to dribble, shoot and control the ball. In addition, this soccer practice drill helps the player’s increases their stamina and strength manifold.

The memory is very precious to us as it is a window to the events that have taken place in our lives. It can be a little bit frustrating though when you remember something that occurred 20 years ago but not what you need to pick up at the store this afternoon. Many people wish that they could improve their memory. There are many ways of going about doing so rather than just being frustrated or upset over the situation.
Before we talk about how to improve your memory, we need to cover the ways in which materials are learned. As you hear new information or you are exposed to a new experience your mind has to decode what has been sent to you. It is going to interpret it in a given way. If you are focused on this aspect of things then your brain is going to file that information away.
It is as if you opened a file cabinet and dropped the information inside of it. When you are ready to retrieve that information your brain will pull it back up for you just like if you were to walk up to that file cabinet and take out the file you had previously placed inside of it.
You may remember earlier times when your memory was very sharp yet you took that for granted. The fact that we don’t continue to exercise our brains and to look for new ways of thinking can lead to our skills not being as effective as they once were. Take a dancer for example. She may have spent years perfecting her moves but then stopped doing them. While she still knows about dancing she isn’t going to be able to get out there and perform today as she was once able to when she practiced every day.
Pay attention to what goes on around you and you will improve your memory. The problem is that when people are talking to us we may only be half listening. We may be focused on something else that needs to be taken care of. Learning to focus on what is going on now will help you to store it for retrieval later on.
Try to make a new information familiar by including it with information that you already have. Remember that there are many different forms of learning out there so find one that is best for you. Some people need visual aids in order to really be able to remember things later on. Others just need to hear it to be able to benefit from it. Find out what your learning style is and then make that a strength you continue to work with.
Take the time to ask questions or to do your own research when you aren’t familiar with something. It may seem like it is over your head right now but if it is explained in a different way you may be able to grasp it. If you do more research on the topic you can expand your knowledge and that will help you to make sense of what needs to be remembered.
If you really need to remember something, explore it in your mind several times. Make sure to keep your brain alive. The more you get into repetition the more it will be engraved in your memory for you to recall later on. There are some methods that can help you too such as word association and visual aids. Take advantage of what is out there that you can easily work with.
