Take a deep breath at the start of the movement while keeping your chest up. When you lower the bar below your knees, hold your breath, and then exhale as you bring the bar up. Calve Raises- When you do calve raises be sure your feet are spread apart, and the hands are placed on your hips. Posture is always important, and it’s no different here. Makes sure your head and neck are erect, and then slowly raise your heels until you feel a squeeze in the calf muscles. You should hold for a one count, squeezing, and then lowering slowly.
