Weight -  Don’t scarf down everything in sight.    We all know it’s hard to resist, but it doesn’t need to be eaten just because it’s there.   This is especially true when dealing with fast food like hamburgers, or even bigger servings like steak.   Just remember when you’re eating those bad foods that each bite contributes to more fat on your body.   Of course, if you are a bit on the leaner side, you may need to eat a little more meat than usual.

Eat your veggies -  What vegetarians understand is that vegetables do your body a world of good. Some may be surprised that people who are vegetarians are more alert and active then the average person.   You need to do what they do and apply a veggie diet into your everyday diet.  Even trying to become a vegetarian may be for you, but if not, then at least include more vegetables in your everyday diet.

Change up the things you eat – There are those diets that state that you can eat what you like, but eat it in smaller portions. While this statement is true, it comes down to what you are eating. If you are already eating foods that are really rich in fats, you will not only need to change the portion size but you will most probably need to change the dish itself. It will be important to quit eating the junk food and fatty foods and add more fruits and vegetables to your diet.

Set a schedule – Some diets have you eat through the day. Some say that by eating smaller portions more often throughout the day, is very healthy. If this doesn’t work for you, then set a schedule for when and how much you should eat. By setting when you eat and how much you eat, you will have more control over your diet.

Don’t stop eating -  Yes, you can still eat food.   You should never go on a crash diet or fast to get a slimmer body.   Your body needs fuel.  The organs need vitamins and minerals that are essential for them to function correctly.   Giving up delicious food isn’t even needed.   All you need to do is eat less. This way, you’ll be able to not build up fat and you’ll also be able to lose weight.   Vegetables and low-fat dairy products are a few healthy foods that you should be eating.

Workout routine -  You can lose weight easily if you just workout, you don’t have to become a bodybuilder.  The minimum amount of exercise you need to lose weight is to do it enough to sweat the fat out.   Jogging or walking around your neighborhood are good things to do, because you need to at least sweat in order to lose weight. So, if you want to lose weight, just eat less and exercise a little and you’ll be fine.

A key part of the body is the chest.   Its essential to keep your chest toned because most of your muscles are located there. The two main muscles in the chest are Pectoralis minor and pectoralis major.
There are many diverse ways you can workout your chest. When the chest is exercised, more calories are burned. To get a full upper body workout, exercise the chest because it uses the arms and shoulders. You shouldn’t start exercising until you warm up. Below are some chest exercises for effective building of chest.

1.Dumbbells for bench presses: You should lie down on an exercise bench while holding the dumbbells in your hands. Make sure your elbows are bent at 90 degrees, with the dumbbells directly over the chest. Place feet flat on floor. Pump the dumbbells up and down but don’t let the elbows lock up. Do about eight to twelve a set. Increase the number of sets and weights as you grow stronger.  

2. Chest flies with dumbbells: For a complete workout  for the chest, combine bench flies with it. First lie down on an exercise bench. The dumbbells should be held firmly over your chest. Your palms should be facing inwards while the elbows slightly bent. With the weights outward, lower them to the sides, making a semi circle. After reaching shoulder length, lift the weights up again. Per set, repeat about eight to twelve times. Increase the number of repeats and weights as you grow stronger.

3. Pushups: A chest exercise that is regarded as the most effective. An added plus to pushups, is it works the abs, back and thigh muscles along with the chest. This happens because you flex your abs while doing pushups, while at the same time you don’t let your back bow. When you do this exercise, you should be on your hands and knees with your hands placed on the floor directly below the shoulders to help support your weight. Lower your chest to barely be above the floor after bending your arms from elbow position. Once you are down to floor level raise yourself back up. Increase the number of sets as you do the exercise eight to twelve times.

    Crunches, Using an Exercise Ball

    If you want your stomach to remain trim, you need to do crunches. Crunches are done in many different ways but the best way to do them is with an exercise ball. Sit down on the ball and make sure that your feet are flat on the ground. Lie back on the ball making your torso, as well as your thighs, parallel to the floor. Tuck your chin into your chest and also cross your arms over your breast area.   Next, contract your abs while lifting your torso to a 45 degree angle. While tightening the stomach, exhale.  To keep your balance, make sure your legs are spread apart, and to work on your side muscles, simply put your legs closer together to feel the effect. When you loosen the contraction, breathe in.

    Work Your Abs with the Reverse Crunch

    To do this other great exercise, lie on your back and stretch your arms out. Your ankles should then be crossed and lifted to a ninety degree angle. When you contract your abdominals make sure your lower back stays flat on the ground. Your hips may rotate slightly as your legs are lifted to point towards the ceiling. Repeat it as much as you want.

    The Bicycle

    Again, lie with your back on the floor making sure your lower back is flat on the ground. With your legs lifted up to a forty-five degree angle, begin peddling. Do this with your hands close to your head.  As your right knee cycles toward you, let it touch your left elbow. Now do the same with the other arm and leg. As you cycle, consciously make an effort to not run out of breath.

    By doing these simple exercises daily, or a few times a week, you will find that your abs will soon be in tip top condition. Consult a doctor if any of these don’t feel right and don’t keep doing them. Straining yourself happens when you overdo an exercise. You will be able to do more and more reps, as time goes on. This is a good way to get six-pack abs through diligent effort.
